« We were back rehearsing for 7y98D, with LA choreographer @rubberlegz during our last day of our residency @dancecentre last week! Our new way of working through Zoom for this project has given us new insights on the possibilities of the choreographic process we didn’t think were possible. The choreography that RubberLegz has been able to produce through Zoom is mind blowing. What an inspiration to work with such as choreographic genius. Thank you RubbeLegz for your patience and for challenging us in new movement patterns and approach to creation. Huge thank you to @dancevictoria for supporting this project through the Chrystal Dance Prize! We are excited to share more details about 7y98D in the coming months. Stay tuned. . . 7y98D is focused on #climatechange, inspired by “The Climate Clock,” a public art installation set on #manhattan #unionsquare The #clock is set to countdown the time remaining for the world to avoid #climatedisaster The Collective became aware of the clock when it posted 7 years 98 days in the fall of 2019. we are currently developing a film to be completed in late spring 2021. In the fall, we will integrate the film into a planned live performance suitable for touring. »
